Dr. Heather Sherry Anne Luing, MD

Thia woman dressed in scrubs and lab coat along with a mask and face shield in order to create a ruse attempting to convince our school board to make our kids wear masks! This is deceitful behavior and this "doctor" should seek treatment herself. Inexcusable.

Dr. Luing is very direct and perceptive. She understood my situation and told me what I needed to hear and not what I wanted to hear. She is not a pill pusher and is looking out for the best outcome for myself and I am sure other patients. Its hard to do in a high paced hospital environment... thank you.

It's hard to trust reviews, especially when it comes to "mental health" patients. It's easy to fall for the old stereotype. "Oh,they must have anger issues" or "They are probably drug seekers and didn't get there way", what have you. Trust me Dr. Luing is not worth risking your mental stability. If you are looking for a Psychiatrist you most likely are struggling in some area and have a little or a lot of fear. You need to know that your provider can be trusted, has empathy and values you as a unique human being, who has a right morally and legally to actively participate in your own care. This is not Dr. Luing. She should not be working in this field. Her arrogance and "my way or the highway" attitude, together with her complete lack of humanity really messed with my head. Stay Away! YOU ARE WORTH IT! Keep on searching for a better doctor.

Dr. Luing is a stone cold b****. Sorry to be so blunt, but I have seen many psychiatrists in my life, and all of them treated me kindly, with the exception of Dr. Luing. I'm not sure what her problem is. At first I thought it was just me until I talked to a friend who saw her and felt the same way. She's definitely in the wrong field.

She was kind and understanding. Her insight into my condition was spot on and was able to direct me to the proper treatment. I think that she wants me as a patient to take responsibility for my actions and personal treatment to get better.

She isnt thorough, She is moody and leaves you feeling uneasy at times. She leaves you walking out feeling you just got pushed away without the right kind of help. She does all this with a smile on her face but ive been a patient myself and also sat in on another patient and observed the same behaviors. I was completely disappointed in the lack of depth, diagnosis, time spent, months it took to get in, just to be rushed away again and left in a helpless, hopeless thought. Other friends of mine who have seen her have felt similar. Id stay away, it takes too long to get in to see anyone and then to only feel like this is not worth it.
