Dr. Heather Lynne Rocheford, MD

After losing 150 pounds of body fat I had a lot of loose skin especially around the waist. I looked into several plastic surgeons. Generally I found that they did not post general prices for their procedures. They all wanted you to come in for an estimate â?? which sounded like the perfect opportunity for a sales pitch. When I came to Dr. Rochefordâ??s web site, the ball-park prices were clearly shown and very detailed information was included (e.g. what each procedure does, how it is done, healing, who are good candidates for a particular procedure, etc. etc.). I met with Dr. Rocheford and she gave me several recommendations. There was no sales pitch. She simply showed me what could be done and gave me several price sheets which allowed me to pick the options I wanted. The prices were also very thorough. Dr. Rochefordâ??s estimate listed not only her prices but the surgery centerâ??s prices so I knew ahead of time how much the total procedure would cost. Her cost also… included all of the follow-up visits after the surgery. As for bedside manner of Dr. Rocheford and her staff, I will definitely say they are all cut above what I have received in the hospitals and clinics I have visited. It is clearly obvious that Dr. Rocheford and her staff care about how you are doing and how the healing is going. Dr. Rocheford even gave out her cell phone number in case there were any problems after surgery (I was quite impressed that any doctor would give out their direct number for emergency situations). I am glad she did. I ended up getting a minor infection and started running a temperature. As promised, she was available and called in a prescription for an antibiotic. At each office visit after the surgery she always asked if I had any questions. She was very good at explaining what was done and what to expect. Since this is the first operation I have ever had, let alone a procedure that no one I know of has ever had, I had a lot of questions. I appreciated the openness Dr. Rocheford had on both her web site and whenever I had any questions. As I said earlier, the end results were better than what I had even imagined. Before the procedure, I had a mental picture of how I would look. After the procedure and after the swelling went down, I was taken back at how well my waistline looked. It was far more sculptured and defined than what I had imagined. Her work was truly outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Rocheford.

Dr. Rocheford and her staff were professional, kind and fun from the minute I stepped into the office. I was so impressed by my experience, that I have now referred 5 friends to her, once they saw my great results. Hats off to a very experienced doctor!
