Seeing Heather caused me more harm than good, and I needed to work with a therapist to undo the damage she caused to my psyche. Instead of being heard, validated, and supported with appropriate medications, I was misdiagnosed, carelessly prescribed meds, and told about her personal life. Talking to her was like talking to the town, gossip— she seemed to only want information as entertainment. There should never be a situation where a client in the mental health arena walks away with additional trauma over and above that in which they are trying to work through. If you are looking for supportive, compassionate, and helpful care, look elsewhere. You’ll be glad you did!

I do not recommend Heather. She is unprofessional, unfriendly, and did not give me any sense of security or trust. She acted more like she was interested in my life for gossip purposes--asking irrelevant questions that were inappropriate. I had prescription errors that, had I not been paying attention, could have caused adverse side effects. Keep looking for a provider who will actually care about your outcomes and skip right past this one. You'll be glad you did!
