Dr. Heather S Turner, MD

Writing this review 5 months after my experience with her because I don’t want someone to have the same experience. I was taken to the L&D emergency room when I was close to about 30 weeks for high BP and feeling like total crap. I was worried that I might have early signs of pre eclampsia because I knew something didn’t feel right. Long story short, she decided to ask me what medicines I took prior and when I couldn’t list the strength of Tylenol that I took, she goes “didn’t you attend nursing school?”. I was FLOORED. As well as my mom. The whole visit she was talking 90mph and SO SO rude. She talked so loud that others around us could hear every detail about my health. (Talk about violating hippa). She blamed everything on anxiety and told me I needed to stop worrying. Fast forward to about a month later, I’m diagnosed with pre eclampsia. This women needs to be dismissed from this practice and go into early retirement. She is the worst doctor I have ever seen. Other than this… negative review, thankfully the practice has wonderful doctors who made the rest of my experience great.

I would give her zero stars if I could. She performed a procedure on me while the nurse held me down. The last thing she said to me was, "I bet you don't do well at a dentist either." Awful. I have spoken about her to multiple doctors and her reputation precedes her.

I love how involved she was during my pre term labor at the hospital, she was always there during my US and made sure I was involved everything bit. I asked for her everyday when other doctor was on, she made be feel at peace even in that worst situation.

I was seeing another Dr. In the office but she NEVER had answers for anything. One visit to the ER & Dr. Turner was on call. I LOVE HER. she explained everything. She is awesome. I jumped ship right then & Dr. Turner has been my Dr every since. She's awesome!!!

The worst experince I ever had so far.

Dr. Heather Turner is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! I had the most unpleasant experience at my first and ONLY visit with her. She is aloof and rude, talks a million miles a minute and didn't listen to a single word I had to say. I will never see her again and would not wish her on my worst enemy!

I've been a patient of Dr. Turner's for 5 years, through the birth of both of my children. I followed her to her new practice when she moved. I'm not in love with the practice; I feel like they are too big, and not very "patient-friendly," although they try to be. But Dr. Turner herself is WONDERFUL. She's efficient, and will talk quickly, but any time I've had questions, she stops to listen and gives me thorough answers. In fact, she will usually send me home with add'l literature about any question I ask. Of great importance to me is the fact that she is a top-notch surgeon. She was written up as such in a local magazine, and my experience supports that. I healed much better and quicker than almost everyone else I've talked to after giving birth, even though I had a 2nd degree episiotomy and a 3rd degree tear. My belief is that she did a superb job with the stitching. :-) If I ever need any other OB/GYN surgery, or if I wind up having a C-section, I hope it is Dr. Turner who… performs it.

Dr. Turner has a great bedside manner and made me very comfortable even though I was a first time mommy. She was great with me as well as all of the family there for the blessed event. I'm even following her to her new practice in hopes of her delivering my 2nd child.

Dr. Turner is an excellent physician. She was both attentive and caring during my visit. Her bedside manner made me very comfortable and I could tell that she was listening to what I was saying and not just standing there. I enjoyed my visit with her...despite the uncomfortable nature of the visit! Great doctor....highly recommended.
