r cantu is my sons doctor since new born my son is always sick and no matter how much we try we have to come back at least 1 a month. I really think they can cure my son but they prefer for you to come back..they aren't pro health they ar there for the money and not for the care of the kids..if some one think 4 doses of antibiotis for 10 day in lest thant 2 months is normal and my kid still sick ar they really pro health i dont think so...i already talk to them about this but same o

After being billed over a YEAR later for an appointment, found out my child had been diagnosed with tonsillitis on MULTIPLE occasions, but Dr. Cantu never disclosed this to us (the parents). Told us he diagnosed her with that because her throat was red?!? Incompetent staff-would leave messages for the doctor that never got to him; every time we called to speak to billing she was conveniently out of the office!! Be prepared to wait anywhere from 30 min to two hours for your "scheduled" appointment. Have changed Pediatricians!!!!

I have lived in 4 locations and this is my fifth. Dr. Cantu has been the best pediatrician ever. We have stayed in Laredo due to the care that the doctor gives our children and we will remain till our children are of age. This doctor is a humaniarian to the fullest! He has a qualified staff. It is easy to ask to speak to the doctor if I need reassurance. I have not met another doctor like him even in the adult world. Thank you Dr. Cantu for being who you are to us and to many.

I have been taking my daughter to Dr.Cantu for the past 4 months and I am impressed with how great he is! He always takes the time to sit down and explain anything and everything to you as well as hearing and concerns or questions you have and never will you feel rushed. He's not the doctor that walks in and out. He is very knowledgeable and updated on all recent studies, research and latest news in pediatric medicine and health tips! His staff is so friendly and helpful & accommodating !!

Dr. Cantu is a wonderful doctor. He's great the kids and he is very frank with the parents. His office has seperate waiting rooms for ill kids and wellness check-up kids. I've been taking both my daughters there since the day they were born and I wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else. I would highly recommend!!!
