Dr Cardenas has been my doctor for many years. He is very knowledgeable so I feel confident in the care I receive. He listens to his patients questions and concerns and is pro-active. He is really great.

I met Dr. Cardenas for the first time today since my primary dr. Was unable to see me today. I called his office saying I was going to be a little late and he said if I was more then 30min late I wouldn't be able to be seen but normally Dr.s won't see you after 10-15 minutes late so I thought that was very nice of him to still see me as long as I came within those 30min. I got there 5min late and the staff was very helpful and Plesent. When I got called to the back the staff was in the middle of getting my kids a cup of water and actually ended up bringing them their water in my exam room which I thought was very nice! Once I finally met Dr. Cardenas he came in with a great smile, shook my hand, asked what I was there for. I explained everything and he was very informative and happy to explain what could be happening. My husband was also with me and was very happy with Dr. Cardenas. He even checked some blood work my husband needed done even though it wasn't my husband appointment. He… was extremely sweet and I would recommend him to everyone. Never once did I ever feel like I was being belittled. My husband and I are very pleased with Dr. Cardenas!

It has been hit or miss with Dr. Cardenas. Some days he is relatively pleasant, but others he is very short or outright rude. His medical (physical) care has been adequate but there have been too many occasions when I have felt frustrated or belittled when leaving his office. I have been his patient for over 5 years.

This doctor is the most uncaring doctor i have ever had in my entire life. At one visit i began to cry due to frustration an pain, he then yelled at me and spoke to me like was nothing to him. I feel like he doesn't care about me at all i have been seeing Mr. Cardenas for over a year now and it has not been pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

Primary care doctor that listens as well as talks. Responds to questions on the telephone and seems to really care about the patient. When he makes a recommendation, it is like he believes it is the best course...not just because some test is called for on an impersonal list.
