Dr. Hector Humberto Goa, MD

Dr. Goa is an incredibly supportive psychiatrist whose expertise is truly unmatched. He genuinely listens to his patients, taking the time to understand our needs and preferences while providing thoughtful, expert care. Dr. Goa is also exceptionally accessible and responsive—he answers texts and calls promptly, even on weekends or when he is out of the office. After each consultation, I never have to worry about getting my prescriptions. Dr. Goa ensures they are sent to pharmacies that accept my insurance, making the process seamless and stress-free. In the past, I struggled to get my prescription refills, but with Dr. Goa, that is no longer an issue. I am truly grateful for Dr. Goa’s dedication, compassion, and the peace of mind he brings to my care.

I was a patient of his as a child from about '97-'06 and to say that he ever spoke to me one on one ever in all those years would be false. Had we had a discussion alone I would have shared with him the massive abuse I was receiving from my foster parent. That he only spoke to her about me and never to me. That all the toys and candies he gave us mattered very, very little to the helplessness I felt everyday at that hands of this woman. A woman who hoarded a copious amount of ADHD medications from Concerta to Adderall and would force feed us these pills in our food and give it to us (she fostered multiple children all who have had hard times trying to make a life on our owns and some who have fallen down the heroin rabbit hole) whenever she deemed it necessary to control us. Having her in the room during our sessions was the most fearful thing because I was not allowed to talk but that didn't matter cause you never spoke to me past "how have you been?" than go into deep conversation… with her on my behavior while she was stockpiling all these pills. We had so many Concerta and Adderall pills that we spent an entire evening trying to dissolve them in water and flushing them down. I fault you in this because you never spoke to me alone. Not once. She was hurting us. I am in therapy this days trying to fix the trauma caused by her.

Dr. Goa helped me so much. Under his care, my life improved drastically. He responds immediately, is caring, polite, well-mannered, humble and extremely talented as a psychiatrist. He is honest and I appreciate all his services. I am lucky to be his patient.

Dr. Goa treated me with my husband and pinpointed exactly what was needed in a few sessions. He was empathetic and straightforward
