This Dr. came referred to us by my mothers physician, My mother was diabetic and had advanced liver disease that ended up with endocarditis thanks to the doctors at advantist medical hospital (Glendale-CA), who are clueless as to what they are doing. Ahmadpour pushed for open heart surgery without informing us that the chances of survival are slim because of all the medications she had to take + she was sent home a week later, after dr put in a pacemaker, with unbelievable edima in her legs and her abdomen. He didnt even come to see my mother after the pacemaker was put in to put her at ease or answer any questions. My mother complained for 2 continuous weeks about not being able to breathe comfortable and that she was sleeping sitting up, or not at all for the last few days of her life. Her concerns and complaints where ignored. Even at the follow-up appointment, the doctor stated that he couldnt hear anything while listening to her right lung, still nothing was done until I took her… to emergency the following week, yet again (3 times in 3 months). Unfortunately it turned out it was blood that had been building up in her lung for 2 weeks and it was too late for her. In the end they said it was her liver that caused her organs to shut down, Intsead of negligence. So NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND this doctor to anyone.
