Dr. Hee Joo Pyon

Please avoid. Dr. Pyon's office doesn't their own protocol of informing the pricing and reason for the treatment to the patience upfront. They failed to inform me on any billing information prior to treatment and only came back asking for payments when they learned they weren't successful getting insurance claim. The claim failed due to not enough info they provided. The whole conversation I had with them to let them know they've endangered my right to know as a consumer, they yelled at me and treated me unprofessionally acting like it doesn't matter. There are many great dentists in nyc with professional team of office. Please avoid. The person I spoke with is Minorky Delacruz.

I've seen Dr. Pyon for about a year and a half now. She's skilled, efficient, empathetic by far the best dentist I've ever seen. She's also extraordinarily nice and somehow she made the procedures I've always feared (like impressions, root canals) tolerable. Another trait that doesn't seem that important but is, is that she's nonjudgmental, you don't get the feeling that she thinks you're a terrible person for not doing better with hygiene or not living up to some Hollywood standard of dental attractiveness. She's calm and friendly but her skill is evident. I've enthusiastically recommended her to my friends.
