Dr. Heidi Lynn Banister

I love Dr Banister. She has been my pcp for over 15 years for our entire family. She knows us, knows our quirks, and accepts us for who we are. She listens to our concerns, addresses them, and makes sure we understand what is going on.

I went to Dr. Banister for years before finally switching doctors. They are not patient-friendly and I never felt like I had her full attention. You could only discuss what you were specifically there for and would have to make another appointment for other issues. They don't allow pharmacies to call in regards to filling prescriptions. I'm currently seeing a doctor who takes the time to ask me questions and to listen to any concerns I might have. He also has a patient portal available to his patients where you can email him questions and he responds - without making you book an appointment just to get an answer. I now have a doctor who cares about my well-being and who doesn't make me feel like I'm one of the herd being rushed through his office.

Went to her about upper right abdominal pain and she blew it off as heartburn and told me to lose weight. Went to another physician who took it seriously and found it was an enlarged liver. Told her I was having abnormal heart beats, passed it off as anxiety. It was a genuine heart condition that needed attention.

The office staff is terrible and will not call my pharmacy back about prescriptions. 30+ minute wait times are common. I am always rushed during the appointment. Would not recommend this docter's office.

Does not spend the time answering questions and educating the patient. Quick to diagnose without research and poor bedside manners. Will not return to this Dr.

My husband and I are very pleased with Dr. Banister. She is very thorough and we both can tell she is passionate and knowledgeable about her work. We are at ease with her kind attitude as well.

Dr. Banister is very caring, asks me lots of questions about whatever my current condition is, and also follows up with just about every past problem I had that is noted in my file. She is very thorough, has a good sense of humor, isn't a "know-it-all" she listens to what I say about my symptoms and nails the diagnosis. She honestly cares about my health. In my 5+ years of going to Dr. Banister, I have always been seen on time, I rarely wait 5 minutes past my appointment time. The desk staff has never been off-putting in any way, they are helpful with any billing or scheduling questions I have.I have no qualms rating "excellent" in every category.I have recommended Dr Banister to several people.

I have been with her for a few years now and she is great, but her office staff could use a lil attitude lift. My mom was. Also a patient of hers and loved her as well, but got dropped for missing 1 visit due to office policy.
