Heidi Cummings

I have over 20 years of experience working with children, adult, families, couples and groups, assisting them to obtain their optimal self. I have helped individuals to address their goals for a mind of Health, Energy and Strength. I have provided guidance and support for people dealing with issues of depression, anxiety, anger, grief and loss, trauma and addictions.

I have years of experience with individuals at their most challenging moments in life as a therapist in both a children’s and adult’s behavioral health units in hospital settings. I have also provided counseling within an outpatient office setting as well as in-home therapy for families through struggling times. I have worked in clinical environments with solution focused therapy designed to reach a goal and provide people with the tools to remain successful after treatment.

My goal as a therapist is to provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples seeking to work through trying times and provide them …with the tools to confidently face future struggles successfully. I was educated at The Ohio State University for a portion of my Undergrad and finished my Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Georgia. I completed my Master’s program at the University of Georgia and obtained my clinical licensure in both Kentucky and Ohio with Supervisory provisions in Ohio.
