Dr. Heidi Jeanine Foley, MD

I saw her for a bit and trusted her. My first complaint is that I couldn’t bring up any of my health concerns during my yearly physical. She would just say “ nope, you have to make an appointment for that”. She would look at or talk about anything. Next, she was quick to prescribe medications for everything. She had me on a cocktail that could have and almost put me in a coma. I made numerous complaints about the symptoms I was having which resulted in multiple appointments just for her to tell me to drink more water. She doesn’t care about her patients and only cares about making money.

You know your doctor is bad when even pharmacy staff rolls their eyes when they find out you see Dr Foley. The doctor herself told me that they ignore all calls and faxes from pharmacies. So it’s always a fight to get refills approved — the pharmacy calls and asks for refill authorization, the doctor ignores them, and then when you call to find out a week later why you don’t have your drugs, Dr Foley gets angry and tells you not to trust your pharmacy! I have never had so much trouble getting refills in my life. And, she often gets prescriptions wrong when she does call them in! She calls in the wrong doses, leaves out directions, and randomly changes amounts from the monthly supply that I am used to, to a 90 day supply without even consulting me first. I just love going to the pharmacy and watching them put 12 boxes of insulin on the counter, when I usually get 4. Who has room in their fridge for 12 boxes of insulin?! The wait times are ridiculous. Expect to wait almost a hour… before they will see you. The nurse is a bumbling idiot. The practice itself is dark and dirty and the equipment is old and broken. The staff doesn’t understand infection control measures. I watched an assistant put on latex gloves, then touch the trash can with her sterile gloved hands to move it, then reach for the instruments to hand them to the doctor to use on me! And when I complained about it, they looked at me like I was crazy. Dr Foley herself rarely spends any time with you, leaving the nurse or medical students to do all the work for her. There have been times when she has put me on medications that have very unpleasant side effects, side effects that the drug is known to cause, and when I mention it or ask to be taken off the drugs, she won’t believe me or listen. It’s just a bad experience all around. If you are looking for a new doctor, go elsewhere. If you are a current patient, leave.

She abuses students, I have seen her do this multiple times. I will be leaving her practice and telling others as well. She believes she is "above all others," when I have had beyond excellent PAs service my family. She abuses many of her PA students and I hope she does not abuse anymore. Shame on her.... And not to mention, she is beyond obese and educating others on how to manage their health and their bloodwork? How hypocritical. She is not worth being upset over, because judging by her appearance and how long she is able to stand in a patient's room, she will not be here much longer! :)

You have to walk from the exam room to her personal office to be seen so she doesn’t have to leave her chair all day

Heidi Foley is one of the worst physicians I have ever encountered, and she should not have a medical license. She is extremely rude, and cold to her patients. She refuses to send you to a specialist when you need one because she wants to keep you in house so she can receive all the funds. She doesn't care about her patients, and only cares about rushing through her exams and collecting your money. She makes patients walk into her office instead of going to them like a good doctor should. She will humiliate you, talk about you to your family, and has no respect for her patients time. Oh, and if you are in pain, she is very comfortable with watching you be in pain and not doing anything to treat it.

C’mon guys stop being so harsh. I’ve had Dr Foley for almost 2 years now and she’s great, she listens, and she cares about her patients without a doubt. I’ve seen it first hand just how involved and caring she is with her patients. And the staff is wonderful they’re always helpful and kind and Jim is great he always makes the appointments comfortable. And so what if she talks about her son or vacations she’s personable and relatable.

To those of you that have a bad experience with Dr. Foley, you can file a complaint through the American Medical Assoc. I strongly suggest that you do so.

It is sickening what this woman does to her patients, their families, and the people she employs. She has no problem publicly humiliating people. She disrespects people without even trying. She spends you 15 min visit by telling you about how great her last vacation was, or how she was at the pats game, or about her amazing kid. Then rushes through an exam and when you try to ask a question- she tells you your times up and to book an additional appt. she also over medicates, over tests, and tells you to come for a follow up every few weeks. This woman uses her power position to mentally and verbally abuse others in my opinion.

Once again we spend another Christmas alone, due to this woman. My son died in 2013 due to her reckless mismedicating of him. She would not believe him about his back pain (prior accident). After his death, she convinced her lawyers to state that he had overdosed. He didn't. She was more concerned about her reputation, then what she had done to him.
