Dr. Heidi Norman, DC

Dr. Heidi Norman is a South Portland chiropractor who serves South Portland and the surrounding communities in Maine.

Dr. Heidi has been studying human wellness, prevention, and treatment for 18 years now and it truly her life’s passion. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree with specialization in Biology she went on to earn her Doctorate of Chiropractic and CCWP (Certified Chiropractic Wellness Program). She has treated thousands of patients across the US, and most recently spent 8 years treating patients at Chiropractic Associates of Bedford, a leading group practice out of NH. She regularly holds lectures, workshops, and has treated the spectrum of patients ranging from the sedentary to professional athletes. Dr. Heidi achieved her CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) which she uses to better assist those with musculoskeletal injuries that occur as a result of both sport and non-sport injuries – present and past.

Training under some of the top mentors in the world …coupled with the successful treatment of literally thousands of patients, has given Dr. Heidi a level of experience obtained by few chiropractors. She effectively treats a wide range of ailments including disc herniations, prolapses, headaches, dizziness, vertigo, ringing of the ears, TMJ disorders, carpal tunnel syndrome, radial ulnar syndromes, knee complaints, ankle injuries, shoulder injuries and the list goes on.

Dr. Heidi takes a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Heidi will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs.
