Dr. Heidi Jean Purcell

This doctor only cares about money. She forced me into an induction claiming it was routine for gestational diabetes my child had no issues and was no overweight. She milked my insurance and had me in the hospital 3 days then forced me into an emergency c section. After my six week check up she denied me services with no warning. To my sistas she is not for us at all.

Dr. Purcell has been my OBGYN for 4 years. The first doctor I was seeing when I moved to Houston did not take time to answer questions thoroughly and had immediately suggested surgery for a condition I had been told by several other doctors didn’t require surgery. I quickly switched doctors and was recommended Dr. Purcell. She is patient, knowledgeable and has the best bedside manner, which seems to be harder to find these days. She has delivered both of my babies over this period and has always been respectful and open to my preferences during both pregnancies. I desired a natural, drug free birth and I had some special requests. To my surprise she did extra research on one of my requests prior to my next visit. I also had recommended her to a good friend who was pregnant and had very opposite desires and wishes as mine and Purcell has been completely accommodating while still providing her guidance and medical recommendations for our individual circumstance. I would recommend her and… her very friendly, competent staff to anyone.

Dr Purcell and her staff, Suzy and Brianna, are amazing, knowledgeable, caring, and patient. Dr Purcell delivered my baby two weeks ago and I had a great experience. Her entire prenatal care was fantastic. I never waited more than 15 minutes to be called in. I highly recommend Dr Purcell.

She is professional and nurturing. Couldn’t ask for more from a doctor.

You will not find a better doctor anywhere! She is the most caring, knowledgeable, supportive OB I have ever met. She values her patients and truly loves her job. The reviews don't lie, you won't be disappointed (unless you choose another OB)!

I like how Dr. Purcell takes time to answer each of my questions and calms my nerves. She is very gentle and kind. BEST doctor around!

I lovvvve Dr. Purcell! Today was my first time visiting her and she was very thorough and compassionate! I had a rough time these past 2 weeks finding an OBGYN since my insurance wouldn't take the facility for a procedure I had to have. I called and Susie (her nurse) was the BEST!!! She was so warm over the phone and very concerned. They were able to fit me in the same day. It's rare these days to find excellent customer service and a Dr. Who takes their time!! Thoroughly pleased ;)

I have been to a few OBGYNs in Houston and Dr. Purcell is by far the best. Often doctors as smart as she tend to be awkward or unsocial, making the visit to the gynecologist even more awkward. Dr. Purcell is a pleasure to be around. She is enjoyable to talk to and makes me feel very comfortable discussing personal issues. She is never judgmental and always works to keep you calm and informed. I highly recommend becoming a patient of hers!
