Dr. Heidi Ann Waldorf, MD

Dr. Heidi reminds me of the 10,000 hours rule…..”intensive practice to achieve mastery of complex skills and materials”. Dr. Heidi is in this league with Bob Dylan and others. She perfected her profession with endless learning, practicing and training. Day after day, year after year, patient after patient. She has a great eye. She walks in the room and Sees you! Less is more. She gives her opinion, but zero pressure. Most of her staff has been with her for decades. That speaks volumes to me. She values your time, as much as her own. I’ve been with dr. Heidi since 2017. She is a talented artist. I could write more, but I know people don’t read long reviews.

If I could give Dr. Waldorf more than 5 stars I would! My experience with Dr. Waldorf has consistently been amazing. Her offices beautiful, her staff of nurses and administrators are lovely and attentive. Dr Waldorf, herself, is kind and lovely. All of that aside, the essential reason I would never have anyone else work on my face is that Dr. Waldorf’s skill as a Dermatologist. There is an assumption that if you know how to use a syringe then that somehow qualifies you to be able to inject fillers; a fact that couldn’t be further than the truth. You want someone who is smart, is an actual board certified Derm, has great skill as an injector and an aesthetic eye for what needs to be done. Dr. Waldorf makes recommendations based on my individual face and would never have me leave her office looking overdone. I have been seeing her for over 10 years and owe so much of self esteem to her skillful techniques as an injector. I recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Waldorf has been my dermatologist for 9 years. I wouldn’t think of switching because I know I’m in the best hands. I ask a ton of questions and she discusses and explains everything openly and honestly--I always have options. The staff at her office is great. Scheduling is easy and the nurses are really smart and patient. I started having injectables as my face lost fullness and began to sag. I was so relieved that I could do fillers and avoid surgery to achieve the look that I wanted. With a combination of injectable filers (radiesse, belotero, restylane ) -and trusting in Dr. Waldorf to know exactly where to place the fillers, I was able to sculpt and lift. I looked just like me only younger and better. The best part is that I receive wonderful compliments. Everyone thinks I look terrific. They assume I had a nice long vacation- can't beat that!

I have used Dr. Heidi for years - worth the travel from CT. Her manner, results and suggestions are excellent. She suggested a scar treatment that really helped. She talked me through a procedure that I was considering but a bit nervous about...did it,,,and the results were fabulous!

Have used her for years with great results = friends say gee you look really good what's new? Never too obvious but always a positive improvement. Was nervous about a particular treatment. Dr. Heidi took the time to review treatment with me, I did it and the results were Fabulous!

I travel from NYC to see Dr. Heidi, and not only because she’s the best in her field, but because everything about the experience makes me feel so special and cared for. The entire staff is kind and caring, and Dr. Heidi takes her time, is very professional, and unlike other experiences I’ve had, she is never pushy. She’s actually talked me out of having certain procedures that I thought I needed!

When you doctor swivels around in her chair, scrunches her nose at you and you see her front teeth and says "I don't know what you want from me?", then dismisses herself from the room and leaves her nurse holding the bag, it is time to find a new doc. I couldn't however. I needed her. I needed her to correct my overfilled face!! It took 8 to 10 appointments to bring me back to a level where I started to look like myself again. When I asked her "what happened to me" her response was "it's your age", it's how your body metabolizes things" "did you put on any weight?" Total blame game!!! Took NO responsibilty at ALL!!! Mind you, I started this process for many reasons. One of those reasons being told by Dr. Heidi that "you are very gaunt". My experience with filler has not been positive. Not only did I look like I either ate too many donuts or was stung by a hive a bees, my malar fat pads have become more pronounced and currently I have a round "festoon" like image under… each eye that I see each and every time I look in the mirror. I never had these before the filler. Nor would Dr. Heidi give me any explanation as to why they developed. I need to get back to the original me so I scheduled an appointment to have the filler removed. Appointment by appointment, Dr. Heidi commented if I was going to any other doctor, I would be paying to have the filler removed. She doing me the favor. LOL!! Let it be known, I spent thousands and thousands of dollars on filler and my time to now have the filler removed. Also, her demeanor throughout the process was hostile. She would not address me at all!!!!! I felt uncomfortable, but did not have a choice. Dr. Heidi was the only one who knew the placement of the filler and the product she used. Now, my experience with FRAXEL. Had a wonderful experience the first 4 times or so. The quality of my skin on my face is so much better!! For that I am very grateful. It was about the 5th fraxel or so, when something was different. My neck ONLY would remain red as a tomato for years. Why??? I remember asking Dr. Heidi. One occasion she said "let's do one thing at time. We are working on your face now". After she left the room, I started asking her nurse some questions as to why. It was at that time her nurse explained to me that the vessels in the neck are different than the face. I thanked her for telling me something. The appointment after that. Dr. Heidi and I revisited my neck because I now have severe pigmentation issues that I NEVER had. Dr. Heidi said "you went on a sunny vacation" I am sure she saw the reaction on my face. A reaction of shock. The blame game again. I understand completely that this is not perfect science. Never did I have false expectations. I spent endless hours and dollars to be treated less than. I am hurt by it all. Even writhing this review hurts me. I really feel I didn't have a choice in this matter.

I TOTALLY LOVE Dr. Waldorf. I was so nervous when I had my appt. Once she walked into the examine rm I felt comfortable. Dr. Waldrof explained everything to me. Dr. Waldrof and her nurse worked as a team. Dr. Waldrof spoke to me as she was performing the procedure. Her office is BEAUTIFUL. Dr. Waldrof is beautiful. I totally love her. I highly recommend Dr. Waldrof to friends, family. Thank you Dr. Waldrof.

I have been goin to Dr Heidi for quite some time and I always learn something new to slow down that horrible age process that keeps happening. When I was at her office last week for two vials of filler, I usually only have one, I was surprised at the time it took for her to do the injections. She looks at all angles of your face to see how much n where to place the filler. I believe when you buy apparel you need to see how it looks on your body from all angles. Dr Heidi feels the same way about the face. I walked out of her office looking years younger. THANK YOU DR HEIDI! dw

I have been seeing Heidi Waldorf for at least 15 years for dermatological care, both medical & cosmetic. She is invariably friendly, patient, informative & often very funny! I’m always happy with her advice& care. The only reason for 4 stars is that many of her procedures are very pricey.
