Dr. Heidi Wettels

I rarely post online reviews, but my experience with this dentist was so bad that I feel compelled to warn others away. From my first moments in the chair, the dentist tried to sell me on cosmetic surgery, when I was there for a routine cleaning and checkup. After taking x-rays, she said I needed a crown. When I decided to get a second opinion, it took about 6 weeks to get the x-rays sent to the other dentist. That dentist did not think I needed a crown.

Dr. Wettels and her staff are top notch. My dental fears are at ease with her and she has a lovely puppy there to help with my nerves if they ever do arise. I needed allot of work and felt very comfortable being in her hands. Danielle, in the front was on her game and Tiffany, the hygienist was very gentile. All around the best dentist to go to in the area.

Dr. Wettels is a superb dentist. She is thorough and caring, uses the latest technology, and makes appropriate referrals to specialists when needed. My teeth are challenging, to say the least. She has corrected my gum disease and helped me make good decisions about how to deal with problem teeth. Give her an A+. Dr. Wettels.

I felt suspicious about Dr Wettles for the 2 years I was there,but she seemed nice and was a good dentist. However, every 6 months her staff changed, there was an air of nervousness in the office. There was hard sell of what I needed done by the hygienist. Finally, Dr Wettles told me I needed two procedures and I knew for sure one wasn't need3ed. She charged me for both before they were done. I went for a second opinion that proved me right, but Wettles had already billed insurance so I had to pay for the procedure out of pocket at the next dentist.

This is doctor is so unprofessional. Her chairside manner is horrible. She talks down to her staff. All she cares about is money. I received a bonding on my front teeth and it fell out in a few months and I had to pay for it again. She is rude and it's just a horrible practice. The staff is very nice but the doctor is disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone.

I thought this dentist was just aweful. Her chairside manner was uncaring. No front desk to greet me. If I'm going to pay to be treated like I don't exist, Dr Wettles should rethink her "antics". I will,therefore, treat her like she doesn't exist And never ever return.

I went to see Dr Heidi Wettles because she is local and I needed a cleaning. Her assistant did a alright job cleaning but I did not enjoy the "attitude" that I had to deal with when I went there. My teeth are not perfect and I am 40 yrs old male but I do not expect to be chastised when I go for a simple cleaning. I do no expect to be talked down to and the typical dentist fear mongering so that they can extract thousands of dollars out of you. That is the impression that I got out of my visit and I did not like it. I also self payed for the cleaning which should have been only $90 dollars but the price was $160 dollars which I did not agree to. She took picture of my teeth although I did not want them and then charged me for it although I has signed papers stating I just wanted a cleaning nothing else. I feel she took advantage of me and will not go there again. I spoke to her secretary and asked Dr Wettles to call me but she never did, no respect. Most dentists play the same… game and try to use fear to make you spend thousands on your teeth with them and I do not agree to this approach. Most dentists do this but she and her assist were excessive and it seems like they get a kick out of it like it makes them feel they are better or something. If my teeth are going to fall out there is not much she or anyone else can do and I certainly do not want to be chastised when I go in for a cleaning. She also alleged I had 12cavities without taking an Xray which is absurd. Even Dr Milner with his Buddhas was less irritating and more considerate then she was and I am Christian so that says a lot. I think she needs to take a course in patient care and professionalism something she and her staff are lacking. If she did this to me then she does it to others find another dentist more caring and hospitable nobody like being insulted period why pay for it?
