Dr. Heidi Renee Wilson, MD

If I could give less that one star, I would. This woman has no business treating children. My daughter took my granddaughter to this walk in bc she has had a recurring fever. The Dr came in and my granddaughter (Honor) was crying. My daughter stated, “ I’m sorry she’s had shots at her 15 month checkup so she’s a little nervous”. This woman laughed and said “a 16 month old who’s nervous, I’ve never heard of that”. She never once examined or touched Honor, never even spoke to her and told my daughter it was a virus. My daughter explained that this illness was going through her house but she didn’t want to be negligent of there was an infection brewing somewhere. The Se again laughed and said “ that’s what a virus is, kids get multiple viruses a month, still never examining Honor. She continues to be rude and condescending. My daughter asked if there was anothe walk in that was open and Heidi Wilson opened the door and said “I think that would be a good idea”. My daughter left there with… a sick, crying 16 month old. My daughter was crying and anxious 1) because of the way she was treated 2) because she has a sick baby. I have 30 yrs experience as a Regustered Nurse and I would not let this person treat my dog. I will be contacting the ombudsman at Lourdes, as well as the Medical Director. I will be sure, as a medical professional to make this community aware of this woman’s lack of compassion and professionalism. Shame on you Heidi Wilson. By the way, my granddaughter ended up a t a different walk in where she was treated well, given a thorough exam and given medication for her illness.
