Dr. Heiko Adams, MD

I first saw Dr. Adams a couple of years ago. He told me I needed an MRI. It took his office staff 4 months to schedule it. And then only after I had several conference calls with them and the insurance company. I recently suffered an ankle injury and returned to the practice. The doctor says I need an MRI but I cannot get anyone at his practice to schedule it. This time I called the insurance company within the week and was told the office did not submit the appropriate records in order to approve the MRI. I called the office and they said insurance denied the MRI. I called another podiatrist, was evaluated and his staff had my MRI scheduled by noon the very next day. The appointment with the new doctor and approval of the MRI all happened before Adam's staff ever returned my last call. Dr. Adams may be competent but his management of office staff is horrible. The follow-up or follow through of this practice is non-existent.
