Dr. Helem Gutierrez, DDS

PROS: Professional and skilled along with a compassionate nature make Dr. Gutierrez the only dentist I trust. The Margate office is clean and bright. She is usually on time. Doesn’t overbook or try to sell you unnecessary procedures. CONS: Support staff have different levels of skill and attitude. Experience and Outcome affected by who is assisting Dr. Gutierrez. Employee Turnover seems high for an office of this size. Reception Used to be pleasant and welcoming The person usually up front has recently been replaced by someone truly unpleasant with a nasty attitude. A majority of the people are pleasant and professional. However, it only takes one person to ruin an otherwise good experience. CONCLUSION: Dr. Gutierrez is worth it. For me the positives far outweigh the negatives. When you communicate with her, she will address whatever concerns you have. When making appointments, I’ve learned to ask for one of the technicians I’m comfortable with. So far, so good. I’m… staying.
