Dr. Helen Masresha Bellete, MD

Was completely misdiagnosed at the VA, I was hurting for a long time. Working in a law firm has its tolls due to high levels of stress and anxiety. Meeting with Dr Bellete has really been a real life changing experience. I am truly indebted for making me what I really hoped for. Would recommend her to any and all who have given up hope.

My PTSD is so much under control, the VA had me all drugged up with meds but my symptoms were going from bad to worse. My friend recommended Dr. Bellete and after a unbelievable 2.15 min of diagnosis and eval and few follow ups, she took me off 80%of the drugs I was on, had me do a EKG which was never done in the VA, although I was told by Dr. Bellete that being on such heavy meds I should have had my EKG done every 6 months or so. Anyways, I am now only on 2 medications as supposed to 7 and feel so much normal. I feel alive. She is the best of the best.

I have alcohol and drug related mental issues, and after the first time I met Dr. Bellete at her Columbia medical practice, I felt a feeling of calm and peace I have never felt for a long time. My therapy is ongoing but so far I feel positive and encouraged. I would recommend Dr. Bellete even to my enemy cuz she is so good.

I went to Dr. Bellete suffering from severe depression. I had been to many other psychiatrist but to no avail. Dr. Bellete really listened to me and helped me overcome the severe depression I was in. She has me on an antidepressent but is also working with me with my thought patterns. I would say she is one of the best psychiatrist I have ever met.

I went there and took my father who is having some difficult times psychologically. I met Dr Helen Bellet who is a resident of Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. We had several issues concerning Medicare claims and also how the treatment and what the treatment would be for my father. She was very gentle and caring and my father is seeing a lot of improvement due to the medication and care he is getting. She is truly gifted and now we are. Thanks

I had a emergency concerning my child and Dr Bellete was very prompt in attending to my child. She even made it a point after a few days made a visit to our house and followed up with us until my child was doing good. I really think she is a very caring and responsible doctor and I would recommend her to anyone who reads this comment.
