Dr. Helen Kent Chew, MD

Dr. Chew is an exceptional physician who makes her patients feel safe and well cared for through the process of treatment and recovery. I feel fortunate that she is in my corner.

She is very sharp; rattles off statistics. She gives wise advice, is compassionate, and runs a tight office with her colleagues and staff.

Dr. Chew is a genuinely caring physician with statistics and studies stored up in her amazing brain to help her patients make wise decisions in their care. She takes all the time I need to answer my questions and is thorough, making sure I understand her explanations. Her vast knowledge of breast cancer and its various treatment regimens has been acquired over more than 20 years of practice and it is quite evident that she keeps up on al the latest trials and studies. And she always asks how my family is doing, remembering my husband's name.

Dr. Chew is very intellectual and answers questions factually. She is not, however, sensitive to the emotional needs of patients going through very difficult times. She does not know how to give hope.
