Dr. Helen E Ford

Hello, This complaint is about a dentist named Helen Ford that works for Western Dental in Riverside Ca & in Victorville Ca. This dentist created a very hostile environment. She discriminated against my daughter who suffers from a mental illness. She talked to her with no respect & did her best to degrade her and make her feel unintelligent. Helen Ford did not feel the need to communicate about changes she was making in regards to treatment. When we asked her about the changes she had made; we were brushed off and treated as if it were none of our business. She made it a point to tell my daughter that 2 fillings don't even buy her lunch. She also told my daughter that she wants ice cream everyday for breakfast but she doesn't want diabetes. I find this very offensive for the people who suffer from the horrible disease of diabetes too. She acts very better then & has zero respect for people and their rights. How dare her speak to my daughter who struggles to understand simple things… because of a condition she cannot help. She was treated as if she wasn't worth her time and incompetent. Complete discrimination for people with mental illness & diabetes. Her judgment and condemnation on these issues should never be brought up while at work. My family is 100% offended. We are also going to get a second opinion because we feel that she purposely caused damage to my daughters teeth that wasn't there previously & my daughter has been in pain since Dr. Ford did her fillings. Apparently this dentist has been able to treat people as though they are beneath her for a long time. She was very comfortable as she spewed her discriminating and harassing statements. Her behavior is very intimidating and aggressive.
