Dr. Haney is indeed thorough however; unnecessary at times. I waited 2 hrs with my child who was throwing up and had a high fever while she sat with a couple over an hour discussing 'what if' scenarios after a wellness check for a patient who wasn't even sick. I complained and threatened to leave. Unfortunately it didn't bother her. Needless to say, I walked out and have yet to hear back from her or her office. After 7 yrs of being a loyal patient, it is time to find a new pediatrician.

We moved from Austin a couple of years back and loved our Pediatrician there - she was experienced, warm and thorough. When I had my son last year I did a online search and found Dr Haney. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, detailed and patient. I then moved my older girls under her care and have been extremely pleased with the care we have received under Dr Haney. I have finally found a pediatrician I have confidence in and the children are comfortable with as well.The wait time is the only downside of the office but if you get an early morning appointment with her then it is not too bad.

How sad is it that we have been with Dr. Haney since 2002 for all four of our children, but have absolutely no qualms about moving on because we are absolutely sick, tired, and fed up with constantly waiting 1+ hours past our appointment time before we can actually see her (or any other doctor there). Our loyalty only extends so far, before being constantly treated like our time has no value forces us elsewhere. Their time on the other hand continues to be worth as much as they can squeeze out of their patients as they overbook day in and day out. Sad.

many complaints about wait times in this office. Last 2 times there we sat for over 2hrs. Several other pts got up and left. They leave no room on their schedules for day of sick kids and severely overbook. She only works part time and a consistent repoir and follow-up is difficult due to this. She is a nice and seems to be thorough doctor, but I believe there are instances of miss information and poor follow-up on the office staffs part and I can see why with how busy the office is.Little time for personal attention. I guess this rating is really for the office in general.

My girls both see Dr. Haney. She is very thorough and will listen to everything you say before giving answers to questions - how refreshing to feel like you are being heard! She is pro-breastfeeding and has extensive experience helping moms learn about breastfeeding, pumping, going back to work and breastfeeding, milk supply, latch-on techniques, etc. VERY helpful in this area. Her overall knowledge of childhood and wellness is great, too. She will spend at least 20 minutes with each patient, sometimes more, which really does explain her long wait time. The office staff is friendly and her nurses are knowledgable as well - especially if you call to ask a question. They are always polite on the phone. My only complaints are wait time in the office and hold times on the phones, though I know they are working to make this better. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. My girls love her and so do I. Highly recommend!

I love Dr. Haney. She is caring and a wonderful listener. I feel she trusts my judgment as a mother. BUT....I have never waited less than at least an hour for my appointments, worse when I have come in with sick children. I have waited more than 2 hours in a crowded waiting room with little or or worse incorrect from the office staff about the wait. I also find the office staff often rude or indifferent.
