When my son was 5 weeks old, he weighed a pound less than he did at birth. For three weeks I had been desperately trying to figure out why he couldn't keep his formula down. He had been to see two different doctors during that time, for a total of 5 visits, and both of them misdiagnosed his problem, and their treatments actually made his condition worse. Dr. Johnston suspected immediately what was wrong and got him into the hospital. She saved my son's life. Since that time, I have found her to be someone who takes her time, and really listens. My son is now 16, and is still a patient of Dr. Johnston's. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pediatrician who is down to earth and takes parent concerns seriously.

Dr. Johnston is great at listening to cares and concerns and is not offeneded if you offer a suggestion as to what you think is going on. She treats problems as important and does not ignore things.

I brought my newborn to Dr. Helen Johnston for breathing problems where she stopped breathing, she totally dismissed me and said nothing to worry about, my daughter was admitted to the hospital later that day for sleep apnea and sent home with a monitor. Please do not trust this doctor to diagnose or care about your child, as a parent its our jobs to do the research about the doctors and to make informed decisions, this doctor doesn't care about the health of her patients and only cares about getting your money.
