Dr. Helen Chang Lam, MD

Dr. Helen Lam is a family medicine physician who graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. With 11 years of experience in practice, she provides comprehensive primary care for patients and families across all age groups. Family medicine allows her to build long-term relationships with patients while addressing their complete healthcare needs throughout different life stages.

Dr. Lam practices at multiple Kaiser Permanente locations in San Francisco and South San Francisco, California. She treats patients with open wounds, joint pain, and toe, foot, and ankle problems. Her clinical skills include performing extremity X-rays to diagnose bone and joint issues, as well as obtaining skin, wound, and sputum cultures to identify infections and guide appropriate treatment.
