Summary
Dentistry has been my passion for many years. In 1987, I graduated from dental hygiene school and worked as a dental hygienist for 12 years before beginning my career as a dentist. Starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon, I then entered Creighton University School of Dentistry, graduating in 2001.
Continuing education is a critical part of maintaining excellence in my job. I am actively involved in two study clubs and attend a variety of courses throughout each year, including many hours spent at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute of Dentistry. In addition to ongoing education, I am also an active member of the Oregon Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
It is important to me to spend time in my community giving back what has been so richly given to me. My volunteer work with the Children's Dental Clinic, the Lane County Dental Society (which I served as president in 2006-07) and the …Lane Community College Dental Assisting Advisory Board is one of my greatest joys.
