Dr. Helen Odland in St. Paul is truly a lifesaver. When you are out of options and nothing is working, she can figure it out and bring you back. Be prepared to pay out of network ($250) and pricey diagnostic labs, ($500-$1,000) but it is completely worth it. She is a infectious disease specialist like no other, and her experience is unmatched. Her assistant Dawn is simply amazing and smarter than any doctor I've ever met. They are not afraid to look at other possibilities and have great recommendations regarding all aspects of putting you in good health. Ditch all your doctors, keep a compassionate family physician and switch to the major leagues when it comes to combating locally acquired infectious diseases! I can't speak enough good things. Be prepared to schedule appointments out in advance, to follow up yourself regarding test results, etc.
