Dr. Helene Claire Longacre, MD

Dr. Longacre-Price may be nice as a person, but I am not at all impressed with her as a doctor. She didn’t take my complaints seriously. She convinced me that a D&C would not help my issues. The last appointment I had with her was for an annual check-up, which she insisted I didn’t need. I learned later that was partially true because certain tests should be done and have negative results before the annual check-up can be pushed back 2+ years. I didn’t have those tests done at my previous appointment. She refused to do the annual exam. Thankfully, my primary care physician knew there was something more wrong and got me in to see another doctor. That doctor explained the benefits of a D&C, which he performed and discovered I had a precancerous condition among other problems. More importantly, it felt like night and day switching from her to him. He was informed, explained all my options and their pros and cons, and made me feel like I was being truly listened to. The only time he… thought a procedure would not be helpful was because he said doing it could make it difficult to get answers if there was a problem later.He’s also the doctor that explained why Dr. Longacre-Price was only partially correct about annual checkups. Thanks to him, I was able to make a decision that helped me avoid a cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Longacre-Price is very nice but front desk consists of lazy, disgruntled, rude employees who appear to not care for patients very much. Worst front desk I have seen from many doctors offices I have been too! Show some professionalism!

Receptionist and appointment staff kind of cold. Doctor and assistants are awesome!

She is the best. Kind, considerate, knowledgable....

Dr Helen helped me and caught a precancerous situation when 8 other male drs could not. I would follow her to the ends of the earth to have a great dr like her!

She is one of the nicest doctors that I have ever met. I previously had gone to a Dr. that was not right for me. My Dr. and retired and I got the person that took over his business. For 12 Years I hated going to see this man. I met Dr. Longacre-Price's sister the year before and hoped that he sister would be as nice as she was. I was the best thing that I had ever done. I don't dread going for my appointment anymore and she is always concerned about my health.

Very down to earth, first pap smear I have ever had that didn't hurt. Great bedside manner, will never go anywhere else.
