Dr. Helma P Philips, DDS

> I have been seeing Dr. Philips for over 15 years. She is excellent on every level. Not only is she highly intelligent, but also she is extremely skilled. On each occasion, she has taken her time to explain the procedures and has always recommended the most conservative path. On a couple of occasions, when I feared I needed to get a root canal, she suggested that I try more conservative approaches that still preserved my teeth without the need for a more drastic and expensive option. She thoroughly presented me with whatever options were available in my case, which I weighted before reaching a decision. She always carefully explained the procedures, and not once did I feel rushed when I saw her. Her work has always been excellent. It is very hard to find a good dentist in New York - I have seen a couple of bad ones before I was lucky enough to find Dr. Philips. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
