Dr. Helson Pacheco Serrant, MD

Dr. Helson Pacheco-Serrant is one of the finest men I have met, and an even finer physician. However, he no longer practices with Las Palmas-Del Sol Group of El Paso, Texas. If you should find that he still practices medicine in this geographic area, I sincerely hope to be told. I was Dr. Pacheco's spinal patient for several years. He never pushed a patient into an unwanted surgery. He recommended sensible alternative treatments, such as Physical Therapy or Pain Management whenever appropriate. However, he was a consummate surgeon, one on whom you could depend your life during a delicate operation. I would like to resume treatment under Dr. Pacheco if possible, but I do not know how to contact him.

I am a 37 yr old women that went for a consult with him, to start with his assistant Mike took over and explained the procedure and at the beginning Mike was really promptly to answer questions about my lumbar spine fusion and recovery time, well I looked up at Dr Pacheco's reviews (who I don't know who's rating him or if it's true) so everything looked good so far, he performed the surgery on me 3 years ago. I went home things went good so far, then I started with therapy and was never able to finish it due to the worst pain ever!!! Then first month started to notice some things and called the office where NO ONE was able to explain anything and Mike seemed to be too busy to answer, 3 months later didn't see any improvement and went to the office and talked to Dr Pacheco and cried and told him I was suffering a lot of pain I didn't experience before surgery with sciatic nerve pain on my left leg, he sent me to take some X-rays and told me that everything was in place and had nothing… to worry about. Months and years passed by and no results and of course no Dr Pacheco seemed to care or Mike either. Last week I had a revision on the surgery and the Dr (for sure another Dr)told me it was a miracle I was walking and that the first fusion didn't fuse at all and some hardware Dr. Pacheco had placed was loose and it caused a lot of scaring causing my pains during all this time. Every hospital I go and every therapist that sees me or nurses they all have really bad comments about Dr Pacheco, they say there's a lot of patients of his have a lot of problems or in pain after he performs surgery on. If you are about to make a decision about having surgery with him go and look up at the hospitals and ask in the orthopedic floor of each hospital or even ask therapist too!!! You only have one spine don't play with it please. Now I'm more happy with my new doctor and my sciatic nerve pain is gone. Also my friend had surgery the same day I did with Dr Pacheco and he just passed away 2 weeks ago he was left in a wheelchair and in a lot of pain, no answers from Pacheco he was fighting until he couldn't put up with pain and had a heart attack

Stay far far away from this quack I had 2 back surgerys back to back within 30 days after the first one thay let me suffer for 30 days with # 10 pain until I had a xray done on my own to find out that one clip slipped out of place giving me # 10 pain in back and down leg and foot NOW I have 3 buldging discs why were these discs not repaired during my 2 surgerys STAY AWAY for your health

My experience with Dr. Pacheco was totally positive. The Doctor really listened to me, and knew immediately the remedy to the problem I was having. He is very kind and empathetic. I strongly recommend him for his work. I would also say that the staff was absolutely fantastic!!

I can honestly say that my experience before, during and after surgery with Dr. Pacheco was a true blessing. I highly recommend Dr. Pacheco.

From the first time you step into Dr Pacheco's practice you feel that you will be well taken care of. From visiting with the doctor to dealing with his staff and office manager Ms. Arellano, you will always be treated as a human being and not just a number.

You are their focus at this doctor's office! Great Doctor too, knows his stuff.

In the past 15 years that I have been living. In El Paso never seen a DR AS PROMPT AND PERFOSINABLE office and staff and DR AS THIS OFFICE I HOPE OTHER DRS WOULD LEAEN FROM THIS DR AND STAFF
