Dr. Hemal K. Patel, MD

I’ve been to quite a few GI doctors and Dr Patel is the best! I did have to wait about a month to see him but that’s not unusual for specialists, especially good ones! He talked me after the testing at CDH to explain next steps. He actually called me himself with results of my tests. So impressive!

My experience with Dr Patel was exceptional. He is compassionate, listens, answers questions, and spent time with me. He performed my colonoscopy screening and the procedure was performed on time and the doctor was exceptional. I highly recommend Dr H Patel.

At my first meeting w/ Dr. Patel, he immediately looked at my history (which most Dr.s do not do) and asked lots of questions. He was able to recognize and tell me how a seemingly non related issue (postural hypotension) actually was affecting some of my digestive issues. He is one of the few specialists who has looked at me as a whole patient and was willing to explain how such a condition can affect other parts of my system. He was also very thorough in his testing to ensure that there were no additional complications. Probably one of my best Dr./Specialist experiences I've had in many years.
