Dr. Hemang J Thakor, DO

i saw Dr Hemang 2 months ago and it was one of the worst doctor visit experiences Ive ever had. He was rude, constantly interrupted me, didn’t listen to me at all, and was very condescending. The 1st thing he said to me was the visit was timed and we wouldn’t have much time, so I couldn’t address all my concerns, and to pick 1 or 2 to talk about. Our entire first visit was only 12 minutes.. He didn’t get any of my history or know about any of my health conditions,and gave recommendations with almost no knowledge about me, which is reckless as a doctor. He was useless and offered me no help or resources, and told me there was nothing he could do for any of my problems and I just had to go home. His only advice to multiple of my very important concerns, was to drink tea and take a $90 magnesium supplement. He also submitted to my insurance a bunch of lies, saying we completed assessments and tests that we never did, and gave official scores for these tests. He told them I was an… alcoholic and drug addict and needed rehab and counseling (we never even talked about substances, nor was that a concern of mine). He also inferred that a lot of my issues were from the medication I was prescribed. He literally made me feel like a junky because i take prescribed aderall for my adhd. so now I’m dealing with my insurance because what he submitted can affect my coverage. He told them I was high risk in a bunch of areas, without knowing anything about me or doing any tests. He also submitted that I was severely underweight and need to be monitored , which is a complete lie. I’m a very healthy weight and I take very good care of myself. He also refused to order me the correct tests that I needed, which later caused a lot of problems for me because the testing centers didn’t want to see me because he ordered me the incorrect tests. Which I told him i needed and he did not listen to me. Also Sanitas medical center (where he works), deletes most of the bad reviews for all of their doctors at all of the locations. It is a horribly run “establishment “ and should be shut down. Do not see this doctor, and you should absolutely avoid any Sanitas medical Center locations, because they truly are the worst medical centers available.
