Been going 1.5 yrs. Never met Dr until Dec. 2019. always saw NP. Had severe COPD flare up. given steroid & antibiotic. Jan 2020 had another flare up, even worse, saw DR again, this time he told me things to do to prevent episodes plus steroid & antibiotic. I take once daily med for COPD, I had to ask him to add another (as many do take additional to daily medicine for COPD). Why did I have to ask for another med and why didn't he tell me to do certain things last visit? I was in distress and needed to be put on the nebulizer but no...they took me to another room to run allergy testing...Told him I have No Allergies...my heart rate and blood pressure were elevated due to COPD issue but Medicare will pay about $600+ for this scratch tests and the tests showed No Allergies...meanwhile I am gasping. I left as I have machine at home and had RX for medicines...Took me 45 minutes to walk 5 blocks home..still could not breathe. He told my wife I was in there Sept, Dec and Jan with same… issue. I was not. Only Dec and Jan. My Medicare statement shows I was there in Aug to refill usual RX, then Dec not Sept. and he also claimed that he had seen me Prior to Dec. Not So..never met him until Dec, nearly 1.5 years later...Told my wife I can leave if not happy. It was more important to him to get that $600 for non-existent allergy tests than to get me on his nebulizer so I could breathe. Steer Clear...If you have Medicare or other insurance he will try to run every test he can...By the way, he only gets $50 for nebulizer administration. I went to this Dr because he was so close even though it looks very dirty and run down and the staff is rude and he doesn't take appointments...Stay away.

I have been going to Dr Shah for the last 20 years however, my visit today was most likely the last. I have no problem with the doctor himself, he just has too many patients. He does not accept appointments. Today I got there at 9:15 and was out at 12:30. Just too long but I have bad cold and needed medication. Apart from that his receptionist staff can be rude and short. I will find a doctor who takes appointments.

Staff id very very rude

Rude staff, no time with doctor, should be sued and reported to the AMA. How can you diagnose when you don't even speak to the patient for more than 30 seconds? Oh wait - they all think they're god. Actually, they're just trash. Wish I could give negative star ratings. Do yourself a favor - don't even go there.

The staff at office are very very rude there is no rules and regulations if u know any staff member u don't have to wait otherwise u have to wait 2 to 3 hours waiting area is dirty.

It's bad enough that the staff personnel barely speak English, but they are also amazingly rude. If you ask them to repeat what they are saying, they will get mad and will stop listening to you. All they have in mind when talking to you on the phone is finding the timing to put the phone down.
