Dr. Hemant Tuljaram Thawani, MD

I went in for low testosterone and he didn't help me with anything and didn't tell me the cause of it. He told me to let it go up naturally instead of going on TRT and I explained to him a few times that I've tried to raise it naturally and it still continued to go down. Low testosterone stresses the body out a lot and now i have mildy severe depression and anxiety which is correlated with low testosterone. He told me TRT will make me infertile and I replied with saying there's HCG to maintain fertility and he still denied me Trt even though it should be the patients choice to go on it if the testosterone levels are low. I called him to talk to him about it and he said my insurance wont cover it because its not low enough, after that i proceeded to call my insurance regarding that matter and they told me they approved the TRT so i dont know why he lied about that. Don't waste your time with this endocrinologist, go somewhere else instead so you can get your problems fixed instead of… wasting your time with Dr. Thawani. After reading so.e of his other negative reviews it makes me think how is this man a doctor. I feel bad for all his previous patients who all had similar experiences.

What an amazing doctor. He has helped me so much with my diabetes. He has a very calm demeanor, and listens when you talk. I would recoment this doctor!

Dr Thawani is a very good doctor, he is very professional, a Great listener and is always looking out for the best interest of the patient health. I would recommend any one to him. I drive a long distance to see him.

Dr. Thawani came recommended by a friend. Spend 2 hours sitting in either the waiting room or exam room, saw the np for about 10 mins. Saw the doctor for about 2 mins and he was out the door. Not much of an explanation. Just told to take the medication he was prescribing, it would help. Wow!! So not what I was expecting!

No respect of persons. He is seriously real about helping us to take care of ourselves! God bless you! Thanks for being a Real Doctor

He wasn't very interested in listening to much detail. Didn't explain his statements. Didn't show any sympathy. I didn't feel very "heard". Left depressed and disappointed as I was waiting for this appointment for months and he literally said, "Don't think you come to the Endocrinologist and everything will be better!"

I am back to my ole' self thanks to him....after seeing several doctors and two years trying to find out what was going on with me. In one visit.....he listened to me and helped me. Thank you

This wonderful doctor saved my husbands life. He is such a caring doctor and so is his PA. His staff is always sweet and caring also. I know sometimes he is running late seeing patients but i do not care. I would wait as long as it takes because he is awesome..He takes care of more than just his thyroid disease he takes care of his well being which means a lot. We recommend him to everyone..Don't know what we would do without him..

Always willing to help out a patient in need. If you call him, he may not respond until after eight o'clock pm; however, he will get back with you. He does make sure that his patients needs are met.
