I would not recommend this doctor and the office staff is horrendous.

Assistant fails to call patients back when messages are left, mix ups with appointments and labs. The doctor is really good but the staff made this place unbearable.

The office is terrible at returning calls or setting up appointments for lab work. The doctor herself is really good, but it’s not worth dealing with having to make multiple trips due to missing labs. The staff also tries to rush you off the phone rather than dealing with the miscommunications

She changes her mind several times during her office visits which is confusing. Nothing written to indicate her final recommendation. She seems to be honest with her interest in me as a patient; however, I need her medical directions to be clear and solid.

As an endocrinologist, I expected Moturi to have a general understanding of Testosterone Replacement Therapy for men. When she reviewed my blood work and saw my testosterone was elevated and my pituitary was not functioning properly, she told me to go off TRT for 3 weeks and get blood work done again. She has no clue. Testosterone Enanthate has a half life of 8 days, so 1/2 the dose is gone after 8 days, 1/4 more 8 days later and so forth. 3 weeks would DO NOTHING since the synthetic Testosterone would not be out of my body. It can take 6 months to leave TRT and use another protocol PRESCRIBED BY A PHYSCIAN to bring your natural testosterone production back on line. And, it would likely be producing low levels of testosterone SINCE I AM ON TRT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Unbelievable how clueless. And, she missed several markers indicating my liver function was off. Thank you very much. Avoid I unless you need your blood work done quickly and then GO ELSEWHERE.

Highly knowledgeable, caring doctor!

Doctor is great with diagnoses and knows her stuff, but she is very rushed with her actual time with you. She looks at my blood work results and then just says see you in 3 months and leaves. Nothing is discussed or explained. I drive an hour to see her wait for 15-20 minutes and then I see her for a total of 6 minutes. In contrast I must say she has found a few issues I have that other doctors may not have seen.

I have been seeing Dr. Moturi for four years. I find her the most caring of the four doctors I see on a regular basis. I trust her! I met Dr. Moturi after suffering a heart attack, bypass surgery, and four heart failure episodes. Dr. Moturi treats me for my diabetes, but also helps in explaining what the other professionals don't have time to do. My granddaughter loves her! And, looks forward to our visits!

I must say the wait time was excessive, however it wasn't due to drug reps. I believe it was because the doctor takes her time w/each patient. She is very nice, caring, and explains everything. Not easy to get an appt, because she is very popular...most good MD's are!!
