Excellent Dr. He’s very patient & listens to what you have to say. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment.

Dr. Pforte was friendly, efficient, and caring about my health. He reviewed my lab work and explained the changes to me. I had an issue with my right arm and he reviewed the steps that I can do to improve it's function. I am pleased with him as my primary doctor.

I am SO happy to have found a real Doctor. He really cares & really finds a way to help you. I have cancer, diabetes & thyroid troubles . Dr Pforte has helped me greatly in all areas. He is a kind, generous, caring Physician. Best I have ever encountered.

Dr. Pforte has been very good at coaching me in maintaining my overall health and setting healthy weight loss goals. I've had ongoing problems with depression and anxiety. Multiple mental health professionals have had trouble coming up with a good combination of medication. Dr. Pforte worked with me on finding a good combination. It took time but he believed me when I described side effects - something that I haven't gotten from a lot of mental health professionals. Dr. Pforte also does a good job with pelvic exams.

Dr. Pforte briefly read only the first paragraph of the report from an angiogram performed by my cardiologist and noticed a diagnosis of CAD which he then assumed was active. In all actuality, I did have CAD at one time but do not now. I clarified this with a visit to my cardiologist who performed the angiogram after my session with Pforte and which was in his report if Pforte had read more throughly.Dr. Pforte seemed unconcerned how his assumption affected me emotionally.Pforte also came in conflict with the cardiologist regarding my low heart rate, suggesting a modification of my B.P. meds which my cardiologist rejected.Pforte also increased the expensive medication Lipitor without consideration of the cost and whether or not my insurance would cover it. In contrast, my cardiologist did some research and found a similar drug which my insurance would cover. In my opinion, Dr. Pforte needs to be more familiar with cardiovascular issues,be more compassionate with patients and think… about what he says and how it will affect the patient emotionally. He needs to fully understand reports generated by other doctors and not jump to conclusions based on a cursory scan of findings.He also needs to be more sensitive of the financial concerns of his patients and try to seek alternate medications based on the individuals insurance coverage.
