Dr. Henry Adjei Achampong, MD

The Doctor is a careful listener and gives excellent feedback! I’ve been going to Dr. Henry for 2-3 years now and plan to continue with him as long as necessary!

I have never met such a rude doctor. He spent maybe 2 minutes with me before telling me I wouldn't be a fit for his practice, and walking out the door, no goodbye, just shutting the door on me. He had over a year of medical records, disability reports and a referral from an ortho surgeon and he still wouldn't look at anything. Actually told me "maybe your disability attorney can treat you". (I've been on disability for over 15 years, so apparently I have something wrong). I have never left a doctor's office feeling so bad, this man treated me like I did something wrong. I couldn't even explain my injury or my pain, nothing, I'm telling you it was 2 minutes of him putting me down. Nobody should be treated like that.

The staff and doctor are all business and professionals.Doctor Achampong is compassionate to my concerns and very knowledgeable in his field.

How can you be so rude and cut one off when u ask me what's going on first visit and when I talk you cut me off before I can say a sentence with 5 words. Also these doctors diagnose you agreeing that you have a painful conditions but say you don't need pain meds. Even with my records and MRI and other specialist note they play these games with your health. Yet they want to cut you wide open and play around in your spine. Then make you be in more pain and more surgeries then they SEE a need to give you pain meds, only if you do the surgery! All games and truth is the devil is in most of these doctors they don't care nothing about you suffering and your condition unless there is money for their POCKETS. He don't return calls nor do his staff so don't call his office they are useless. Ching Ching Achampong!!!

Listening skills are no good. Quick changes with no plan put together to manage my pain. I advise him to Understand the patient before reacting so fast.

When I went in to see this physician I thought to myself here we go again. I have been to a few of these pain physicians over the years and it's always the same thing. I found this doc was kinda different. He offered real solutions and within two weeks I already feel better. I highly reccomend him contrary to what I had previously reviewed.

So, the first thing I walk into is patients walking in in major pain begging for a shot because there in pain. I read the reviews below and saw that he tells everyone they need a shot. I thought ok. Let's just see. Boy was I wrong. He came in my room saying I'm really messed up. I need to see a surgeon. I'm giving you gabapinton and roboxen. So I'm not a opioid freak by all means. But when someone says your messed up. And your in a lot of pain. You think your going to be given something strong. For God sake. Tramadal at least right? He will say no I don't give that out. If your in pain ILL GIVE YOU A SHOT. Does that make sense. Go see a surgeon. Oh but you don't need nothing for pain. I'll just give you a shot. Lol. So I said what ever. I'm in pain I'll take it. I get three shots. He did just fine. NOTHING happens for two days. I call them and I actually get an answer. It's hard to get that. She says oh it takes a minimum of two days . I said wth? What am I supposed to do for two… days or even longer. Sit here in pain all day. ?! She says oh well I'll talk to the doctor. I leave four voice messages. No call back. I'm telling you. Run!!

First off, the staff , as always, is wonderful! The Dr, well lets just say, I wasn't impressed and Im still not. I feel He needs to upgrade the office, feels too "clinicy" in there! I've been going for sometime now and will continue. I'll give 2 1/2 out of 5!

Don't trust this doctor for Pain Management! He could not keep track of what meds I was on, and verbally insulted me for not allowing him to do a surgical procedure in his office. Avoid this doctor unless the idea of someone wiggling needles around your spine while you're awake appeals to you.
