Dr. Henry Allen, MD

Literally the worst medical care I've ever seen. He is rude, arrogant, authoritarian, and quickly becomes angry when questioned about anything. At times, it seemed that he was actually trying to treat my family member as someone who did not deserve to live.

Abysmal care. He was wrong about every diagnosis and got extremely upset when asked about it. Then, he resigned, claiming that a complaint had been filed against him. Horrible doctor - stay away!

Dr Henry Allen is a very compassionate and highly qualified doctor. He has outstanding bedside manner and will answer all your questions, after explaining to patients and family members, about the condition and care plan for the patient. We were very impressed with him and his care. We highly recommend him!

World Class Doctor--Highly Recommend! I recently had to go to the emergency room at Medical City Dallas. I was evaluated by Dr. Allen and he knew exactly what was wrong with me within 10 seconds of seeing me. The tests confirmed his predictions and he was the attending doctor during my week long stay. The care I received from Dr. Allen was better than I could have ever imagined. He truly cared about my wellbeing and made sure that my family and I understood every aspect of my treatment and anticipated release. I did not feel like I was just another patient, or someone else on his rounds but he truly made me feel safe and cared for. He took time to sit and talk with me and made me feel at home. If you are able to request Dr. Allen, I would highly recommend him and his team of medical staff. I had world class advice, care and treatment.

This doctor referred my father to the Villages of Lake Highlands because he and his associates frequent there (I do mean not so often). He refused to discharge my dad because he states they have a great wound care nurse there (not so). My dad's colostomy bag has leaked everyday since he's been there (1 week). He discharged him AMA because I informed him of me filing a complaint against him. The staff at the facility are not use to the care my dad needed and is forcing him out without home health care or another facility recommended. So upset.
