Dr. Alperin received his B.S. degree from the University of Richmond, Richmond, Virginia in 1964. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1968. After serving three years in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Alperin completed his residency at Duke Medical Center in 1975. Dr. Alperin joined Radiology and Imaging Associates in 1975. In 2000, he joined Brown & Radiology Associates when the two practices merged. Dr. Alperin is licensed to practice medicine in Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia, and is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and B-Reader. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity, the Richmond County Medical Society, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Georgia Radiological Society, the Society of Breast Imaging and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Alperin is a recipient of the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. He …is a member of the medical staff at University Hospital, Trinity Hospital, Doctors Hospital, and is an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Medical College of Georgia.
