Dr. Henry Haipei Chen, MD

I scheduled a procedure with Dr. Chen in 2021 and spent several years on a waiting list. He just cancelled my surgery three months out with no warning. He made no effort to reschedule me, help me find a different provider, or help me keep my date with someone else. His office had confirmed the surgery date as recently as August and March of 2023. This behavior shows contempt for patients and I would not trust my body to anyone this careless or unkind. You deserve better.

During my entire life I struggled with a runny nose, constant sneezing and difficulty breathing. Wearing a mask during the pandemic, exacerbated my respiratory problems. After being examined by my primary care doctor, it was discovered that not only did I have a deviated septum but one of my nostrils was practically closed. I was referred to an ENT and tried nasal sprays. I was eventually referred to Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen was very thorough with his examination, explanations and answering my questions. Dr. Chen performed a septoplasty, he personally called to follow to see how I was doing after the procedure and the following day. The follow-up care and appointments have been amazing. My breathing issues and minor nasal imperfections were resolved without a change in my appearance. I am very grateful for the care I received and beyond satisfied with the results. Dr. Chen has the best bedside manner and genuinely cares about his patients.

The absolute best doctor I've ever seen across all specialties! He was so kind and compassionate and helped me through a really traumatic past experience with a nose surgery. He corrected a botched job from over 20 years ago that came along with a lot of emotional anguish.The surgery and recovery went perfectly and I can breathe better than I had ever expected I would.He changed my life! I'd give him a thousand stars if I could!

Dr. Chen was fabulous! I had a deviated septum and severe anxiety and Dr. Chen talked me through the whole process so I would know exactly what to expect. He called me before and after surgery which I really appreciated. Dr. Chen is patient, skilled, and has a good bedside manner! I can now breathe fully out of both nostrils! Thank you Dr. Chen!!

Following a horrific surgical experience with another doctor, I was blessed to have been referred to Dr. Chen. Not only is he a highly skilled surgeon and ENT specialist, he is compassionate and truly cares about his patients. Dr. Chen always took the time to personally answer my questions. Despite the degree of difficulty to address the various issues associated with my first surgery, he never skipped a beat in providing a resolution. I truly could not have asked for more. I had unfortunately struggled with breathing problems my whole life and almost became use to not fully breathing out of one nostril. I was tired of the post nasal drip, sinus infections, sinus headaches, and difficulty breathing when working out so I finally decided to schedule an appt with Dr. Chen and it was the best decision ever. I had a septorhinoplasty done and my nose feels 100% and looks amazing! So natural! It doesn't look a "celebrity's nose" pasted on my face... it looks like MY NOSE which is exactly what I wanted. Dr. Chen is a tremendously talented surgeon! He honestly has made a huge impact on my life. I came to him originally with breathing issues due to a deviated septum. We explored different options and eventually chose to do a septoplasty, in order to reach the optimal results in terms of breathing. I also discussed the options of a rhinoplasty and Dr. Chen was very helpful and patient with me. He went above and beyond to help me in every way he could before and after the surgery. I could not have asked for better care and a better result. My rhinoplasty exceeded my expectations and I cannot express my gratitude to him enough.
