Dr. Henry Chi Hang Fung

Dr Fung is knowledgeable about the current standard of care for blood cancers. His only focus is on a BMT. He is not open to patients input or desires about their own health. if you choose not to go through the grueling procedure and recovery process of a BMT, he paints a grim picture, and makes the patient feel they are making a foolish mistake. BMT is going out of favor. The same results can be obtained with the same medication you would be taking post transplant.

My sons and I love him he saved my life with two stem cells transplants at Rush in Chicago, that was in 2006 and I’m still here and during great so thank you Dr Fung , wish you were still here

This “doctor” isn’t a doctor. He doesn’t care about me- he hasn’t seen me personally in over a year. But bills like he sees me an hour a month. Isn’t that fraud?

Dr Fung belongs in jail he never even saw or examined my wife in the two years we went to his clinic

The Fox Chase Website and their reviews are all fake. This guy belongs in jail. And everyone knows it.

This “doctor” doesn’t even see his patients. But he bills for them! He is currently being sued by two patients and the former vice director. He is disgusting in every level. And a liar.

Having just moved to Chicago, I was concerned about establishing my care with a new provider. My concerns were totally alleviated after having met with Dr. Fung and his wonderful staff. I previously thought that a timely and caring physician was an oxymoron. Dr. Fung spent thoughtful time with me, answering my medical questions, getting to know me personally, and giving me the most current thinking on my medical issue. I can now breathe easy knowing that my care is in the hands of a 'person' not just a physician, who is not only very talented, but also compassionate. Thank you, Dr. Fung.

Both the doctor and the institution are tops for blood cancers, such as Hodgkin's & non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. If you relapse with one of those, you're apt to need a stem cell transplant. Dr. Fung is one of the best. He's also a terrific person. I can't really understand the less positive rating from the other reviewer. Guess that might reflect just how hard a transplant is. It's rough, you stay in the hospital for a month. But it saves your life if you relapse, as I did.
