Dr. Henry Jack Grainger, DO

My mother has been going to Dr. Grainger for many years and some staff have been rude over the years to not only her but myself as well. But today was the absolute worst experience to date. I was placed on a long hold and then hung up on while in mid sentence. This person was the rudest person I have had to deal with yet. Her name is Griselda and she goes by 'Gigi'. She accused me of asking her to forge a doctor's signature which in no way did I make such a statement or even suggested. THIS IS ILLEGAL! I would never ask anyone to do something illegal! She would not let me talk and cut me off. In my opinion she does not need to be answering calls if she is not willing to take the time to listen to concerns and offer helpful suggestions to patients. I understand some things are out of the staff's hands but there is no reason to be extremely rude to anyone.

The following is what I experienced when using the practice and my own subjective judgement when comparing the practice to other practices that I have experienced. Dr. Grainger's practice makes the British nationalist health system look extremely very medically professional. Within the short amount of time that I was listed as having Dr. Granger as my primary doctor, I experienced the following issues. A cart with at list 15 office document storage boxes filled with folders unattended outside the main door. Having made 2 doctors appointments, I got to the practice only to find it closed. In comparison to modern professional practices, the practice needed to be deep cleaned. The tiled floor needed to be stripped and waxed and sealed. The walls had dirty marks on them. Its very hard to see Dr. Granger as he only works a couple of days a week. He explained that he is partly retired. Unlike other doctors offices that I visit, I found the office staff well below the standard of… professionalism that I experience elsewhere hence making doctors appointments only to find the doctors office closed without informing me that my appointment had been cancelled. At no other practice have I refused to have blood work done, but when requested having seen the state of the floors and walls, I refused to have lab work done. My recommendation is only to use the office as a very last source of medical help.

I have seen Dr Grainger since I was 10 years old. I am 48 now. He has always been the most caring intelligent and patient oriented doctor I have ever seen..bar none! He listens to his patients and treats them with respect and he's not unwilling to look into alternative treatments or medications like most doctors are today...and he will give you his honest opinion of them!
