Run, do not walk away from this doctor.

perscribed medicine i asked him not to and then threatened to send me to rehab against my will. He had zero reasoning for his perscribing medication, and honestly seemed to care less about my well being. Never seek his treatment.

He really is THAT bad. See for yourself but you’ve been warned! He is an incredibly rude man.

This facility does a great service to the community by continuing to accept patients and offer high quality treatment despite the overwhelming number of patients they have. If you can’t appreciate that, find another local psychiatrist willing to accept your insurance. The visits are not like a traditional psychiatrist/therapy appointment where they have conversations at length with you, and are more designed for those who have a set, predictable routine of medication, like myself. Still, despite the number of patients they have, I am continually surprised by how Khin takes the time to have a conversation with me and even remember details from our last conversation! He’s shown great consideration for my condition and addressed all my concerns with my medications promptly. The fact that this facility doesn’t meet your specific needs does not diminish the quality of their work. If you can’t appreciate what they do for the community by continuing to accept ungrateful, impatient patients… like yourself, then simply find another psychiatrist.

Literally the worst doctor I’ve EVER dealt with. He does not deserve a dime of anyone’s money. I’m now withdrawing from Prozac because of him. All he wants is your money.

I’m not sure how he passed his exam for license by promising to keep the words of to help people in need and be kind. Isn’t it doctors duty to us??? He was very rushed, took me in late and I was out in 3.5 minutes with prescription on my hand. Hmmm. He isn’t interested in you nor in your problems nor in your pain. Only things he needs to get as much possibly more patients to get paid by insurance companies. It was interrogation room with very weird questions. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone especially people who is in need of good hearted doctor. It’s opposite in there. Actually their office is in depressing mode. By just sitting there makes you feel depressed. They need to change their attitude in more brighter colors and kind treatments for patients if they want people to come back. Sure not me. I never write review but i wanted to share so other people wouldn’t be in great disappointment.

Switched psychiatrists and I'm SO SO SO glad I did. My new psych is like day and night with this doctor. He rattles off questions to you in a rapid-fire manner, which felt like he was just rushing to check off some boxes from his clipboard. Dude never once looking up at me. My new psychiatrist was shocked at how strong of a dose this guy was going to start me off on. She then prescribed the same meds, but at a quarter of the dosage. I left Dr. Khin's office feeling awful about myself. I always leave my new psychiatrist's office feeling like, yes, I CAN make a positive change to my life. Everyone deserves to feel like that. Props to you if Dr. Khin helped you feel this way, but he was a hard pass for me.

5-10 min meetings, hes not interested in the patient, what so ever, and dictates . I need a new doctor but ive been through so much, impacting virtually every area of my life, and there arent many to choose from in the area. He changed my meds that took years and work to balance with my previous doctors and basically said if i don't like it find another doctor. My Pharmacist was absolutely against the change and strongly suggested i do not take the level of meds he was prescribing and either change doctors or get him to change it back. He will not. Ive learned to be quiet, take the meds i can get, in less dose and searching for another dr.

Dr Khin should be a car mechanic, not a psychiatrist. Zero people skills. He sees about 15-20 people in one hour. The initial consult lasted 10-15 minutes and the others lasted 2-5 minutes. This makes sense since there are a lot of clients and he's there for medication management only, but the irony is that Dr Khin comes across as if these parameters justify a lack of empathy -the root of narcissism. Somehow, in his quest to help other human beings, he's lost the ability to be one.
