Dr. Henry R Lemley, MD

My mother had to visit Madison, AL ER due to having trauma to her eye. She was placing a book high on a shelf and it fell and hit her eye. Luckily nothing was broken but it was very swollen and her vision had changed. Dr. Lemley was so thorough with her and very polite. My brother is a doctor and Dr. Lemley even spoke with him about it. He was considerate of her pain and she has MS so he was also very thoughtful in his assessment with that in mind. He even has mom going to a specialist because she has cataracts and he admitted it was difficult to confirm her retina was not detached and there wasn’t anything he missed. Her peripheral vision wasn’t what it should have been either and he explained all of that to us and to my brother, also a doctor. He was also considerate of the pain she had and gave her medication to help with that. Thank you so much for being considerate and compassionate, Dr. Lemley!

Did not look at the EKG (which was abnormal) or bloodwork done by the Emergency Room staff prior to drawing a conclusion and discharging me. No help at all in determining why my blood pressure spiked to stroke levels.
