I have been seeing Dr.Meiers for years. He discovered non invasive bladder cancer during a kidney stone procedure and had followed up with me since. He's a fine doctor. He takes great care of me. He answers my questions thoroughly with patience and makes sure I understand. Five stars.

Dr Meiers did a great job of explaining my issues and stated the options clearly. He is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly! The supporting staff was great as well.

I've been a patient of First Urology for many years and have seen other urologists, so I don't say this lightly: Dr. Meiers is the very best in my opinion. From the moment I met him, he treated my medical issue with real care and understanding. These are personal and sometimes concerning matters, and he has a way of putting you at ease. He gave a thorough explanation of the procedures and my treatment plan, leaving no questions unanswered. What I appreciate most is his honesty and caring manner. He's direct when he needs to be, but always with genuine compassion. If you're looking for a urologist who truly listens and takes your concerns seriously, Dr. Meiers is the one.

Dr. Meiers is very friendly and answered all my questions in a professional manner. He is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him..

Dr Meiers was extremely defensive, argumentative, and overall unprofessional in his demeanor. He was very impatient and he raised his voice to me while asking me what I thought he should do. My husband’s hemoglobin has dropped from 13 to 8.2 and Dr Meiers rudely demanded that the blood loss was not from bladder. He refused to listen to what I was trying to say and left in a huff like a spoiled child.

My appointment with Dr. Meiers was all but 2 minutes. He glanced at my paperwork, asked me 3 questions and read my lab results before telling me I needed a procedure done and then shaking my hand to leave. He does seem knowledgeable, but I did not feel listened to or cared for at all as a patient.
