Summary
Born and raised in India, Dr. Madhok received his medical degree at the Seth G.S. Medical College at Mumbai University in India. Soon thereafter, he completed his residency in pediatrics at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Schneider Children's Hospital in Long Island.
He is currently board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Madhok knew he wanted to be a physician when he was in High School. Also, Dr Madhok's grandfather was a physician and he was exposed to the nobleness of this profession in his younger years. He was always impressed with the cardiac pathology and wanted to take of children with issues related to the heart. Pediatrics was an early choice in his career because of true love for children.
Dr. Madhok has a special interest in invasive cardiology, non-invasive cardiology, exercise stress tests, tilt …table testing, management of hypertension and hyperlipidemia, and Kawasaki Syndrome.
Now residing in Johnson City, he enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife (who is a practicing allergist) and their two boys. He pursues his hobbies and interests, which include gardening, traveling and outdoor activities.
