Dr. Herb T Meyer, DO

He pushes his beliefs and holds your script hostage while you do meditation. He told me I was drunk and yelled at me. Come to find out I was going through keto acidosis. He will not trust you eno matter how much you show you should be. I could go on and on. He's someone who barely passed college and now takes advantage of the sick.

I am 8 years sober. I saw this doctor back in 2011-2012. He prescribed me suboxone for my opiate addiction but not in the way that other MAT providers do. I remember this man would require that you attend yoga in his barn with his weird partner to get a script. This barn would be full of the small towns young addicts, awkwardly doing yoga to get a fix. He would let me consistently fail my urine analysis and continue to receive my “medicine.” I would in turn sell them and use this as fuel to feed my addiction. At the time I was a drug addict but I was still a human being. A 21 year old woman lost and looking for help and he would talk down to me rudely. He never addressed that root of my addiction. He never discussed my mental health. My failed drug tests. He just made money off billing my insurance and writing me scripts. Today I work in the recovery field, I’m in school to be a social worker and have dedicated my life to helping others... and I am horrified when I look back at his… practice. Stay away!

I've known Dr Meyer around 20 years. At times he comes across as caring and helpful. Most of the time he is just a jerk. As devote Christian we constantly disagree on many issues. He had tried to push his beliefs on me. I asked him nicely not to buy always continued. His office is a dirty worn out barn. Honestly it's dirty and nasty. A very backwoods kind of Dr. His mind is out there. His religion and conspiracy theories is what he pushes on people. If you don't agree you're out. He's fried. A long lost hippie trying to live in a modern world. I strongly recommend seeing someone else. First, who has a sanitary place. 2nd, a up to date filing system. Notes everywhere. 3rd, doesn't push their beliefs on you. The guy is smart. Too smart. He's dangerous. Says he doesn't do drugs. He sure does act like he does. Most days you can find him dancing and exercising in his driveway listening to the voices in his head. Save yourself some trouble and stay clear of this Quack.

Dr. Meyer provided non judgmental treatment the same day.

Even one star is too high for Dr. Herb Meyer. I would advise everyone to stay well away from this man and his partner/wife/assistant Mary Henderson. She states she is a LADC - but I have been unable to verify that. Dr. Meyer is an egotistical, arrogant, unethical, bloviating, pompous man, who's only agenda is to force his so called Buddhist beliefs on anyone unfortunate enough to walk into that dirty run down barn he calls his office. He is disrespectful and has no respect for HIPAA and in fact will tell you that. My son saw him for a short while for a suboxine prescription, which Dr. Meyer dangled in front of him, forcing him to listen to his rantings. He provided incorrect information regarding substance abuse and told my son to 'smoke as much weed as you want' along with prescribing a benzodiazepine. He insisted I attend my sons appointment and held his prescription as a hostage. This man is dangerous for anyone trying to get clean - please find another doctor. I have submitted a… formal complaint to the licensing board - I hope he gets disbarred.

You insulted my family and myself 10 yrs ago and I haven't forgot. If anybody needs help with opioid recovery, please choose anybody else over this dr.

Pretends he's Buddhist, but definitely a scientologist pushing narconon on patients along with seeing him 3 times a week. Absolutely insane!
