Dr. Herbert S Feinberg, MD

I strongly DO NOT recommend Dr. Feinberg, based on my experience. I had been a patient for several years, even though his exam room manner is not pleasant. Admittedly, he is knowledgeable. However, he operates his practice like a factory. I made an appointment explaining that I had a Seborrheic keratosis on my neck that I wanted removed and had a cyst-like growth on my back that was extremely sore. On the day of my appointment I waited for almost 90 minutes past the time of my appointment. I told the woman at the desk that I was leaving because the wait was too long. She said I would be taken into an exam room. A nurse met with me and asked me what the issues were. She said that since the pandemic had prevented a visit I was also due for a full body scan and Dr. Feinberg would do that also. She left and told me to wait a few minutes for the doctor. A few minutes later I could hear Dr. Feinberg say, “Who is in here? What is he here for?” The nurse explained and I heard him… say, “I don’t have time today.” He came in, greeted me and looked at both matters. He said, “don’t worry about any of it. I don’t have time today. You can come back another day and I’ll take care of the cyst.” I pressed him to remove the Seborrheic keratosis on my neck, which took all of about 3 minutes to remove. He said it was too late in the day and he had too many patients for him to address the cyst. He said it wasn’t an issue and not to worry about it. Well, it’s about four months later and the cyst increased in size and popped during sleep. It is extremely sore and has gotten worse each day. I called Dr. Feinberg’s office and was told he didn’t have any immediate appointments but I could see another physician in his office at a time that conflicted with my work schedule. I asked if there were any early or late appointments and was told no. This was hard to believe since the day I waited for 90 minutes in the waiting room there were people who walked in and were told they could wait to see Dr. Feinberg. I said I was completely disappointed in Dr. Feinberg and that if he had addressed the cyst when I when I had made the appointment, this might not have happened. Today, the office manager called and asked me not to post anything negative online because Dr. Feinberg was accommodating and a caring physician. I explained that was not my experience. If you are seeking a caring, responsive dermatologist, do not go to Dr. Feinberg or Englewood Dermatology Center.

Dont go for HT's.

Dr. Feinberg is by far the BEST dermatologist I have ever been to!!! My mom and I have been going to him since I was a little girl for my autoimmune disease. My mom goes to him for chemical peels and couldn’t be happier with the results. I now live in Florida and wish I could find a dermatologist nearly as good as Dr. Feinberg down here.. If you live in NJ or NY and looking for a knowledgeable and experienced derm... stop looking because you found him! Highly recommend.

Unfortunately when a doctor is good you must wait to see that doctor. My experience is one that he did have my concerns at heart extremely kind man and for me went beyond my expectations. This was my experience though and sometimes everyone cannot be pleased.

If you want to feel like a standby passenger on an overbooked airline flight, Herbie is your man! He kept me waiting for over an hour because he crams patients into his calendar like sardines in a can. Then, when I wanted to followup, his numbskull nurse told you that he doesn't speak to patients on the phone. You may be able to do better at a community clinic.

I got my hair from Dr. Feinberg. He is not only a great doctor but a great guy. People always comment about how great my hair line is. He is the reason.

bad service. has little knowledge about my problem/diagnosis. hardly spends any time with you. and brushes off any concerns or questions you might have with the old "give it some time" response. terrible. only been here twice. very unprofessional. will not return.
