After years of going to Dr. Fox and feeling worse over time, I decided to slowly discontinue the brain disabling drugs he was prescribing. What began as depression and anxiety from childhood trauma turned into a nightmare of mania, psychosis and complete apathy after taking all the psychiatric drugs. These drugs have devastating side effects. Dr. Fox convinced me that the antidepressants brought out the bipolar in me. Now I know better. I would not recommend Dr Fox or any other psychiatrist who just wants to alter your brain chemistry with drugs without first running tests to see if there is anything wrong with your brain. A doctor would never prescribe insulin without first checking someone's insulin levels. With the help of an empathic therapist, I've learned to face my demons and just say "no" to all these psychiatric drugs that were wreaking havoc on my life and relationships.

He is thoughtful, knowledgeable, caring and competent. The person from Aug, 2013 had a bad outcome. Sometimes that happens despite the best of treatment.

This doctor is very professional. He does not have an office staff therefore it was not checked. Highly recommended

My friend that I was caring for went to Dr. Fox for electroconvulsive therapy earlier this year. As someone with a seven year history of medicine and a graduate background in psychology, I was very impressed with this doctor. Dr. Fox was professional, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable about not only the procedure but about psychiatric diagnoses and treatments. He went above and beyond with my friend in his care. I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor to just about anyone, for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) or for psychiatric evaluation and/or treatment.

Dr. Fox is very professional and caring for his patients. He is mindful of individual needs of his patients. He is willing to help me in other matters that impact my mental status. I would recommend Dr. Fox to anyone who needs help.Dr. Fox is very knowledge; however, if he does not know an answer he would tell you and try to find the answer for you.It is my opinion that Dr. Fox become a psychiatrist to help people feel better and live a richer life.
