Dr. Herbert Ricky Jalowsky, MD

Dr. Jalowsky is not respectful, of the time of patients -- waits are often more than an hour. He does not listen to the patient and changes medications prescribed by specialists in specific fields of medicine. He has repeatedly ordered blood tests that have given the same results. It is time to change doctors.

If you take important medications, do NOT go to this clinic. First, Dr Ruben increased a medication by 50 MCG for no reason and didn't tell me. Then when I saw Jawolsky because my Ruben was sick, he okayed a refilled one if my thyroid meds in FIVE TIMES STRONGER than I normally took. Since it is a small white pill, I didn't notice. THREE MORE REFILLS went in, one by Ruben at this clinic. He didn't notice the mix up with my other thyroid med OR this one. SO, SEVEN MONTHS of the wrong dosage and wondering why I feel so bad has left me angry. I already left the clinicclinic (to get an accurate diagnosis of a paralyzed diaphram) when my new SMART WONDERFUL DOCTOR, found the problem. Was it Jawolsky? His substandard office worker? Who knows? What I DO KNOW is IF they do this with HEART MEDICINE, someone could DIE!!!

My first visit, he was rude and threatening. No humor. Said my being a patient depended on me not coming in with any more insurance forms. 10 minute exam on first visit. I requested a physical for insurance purposes. My last doctor went on sabbatical and never returned so I had an insurance form needing a doctors signature. I quit him before it cost me more time, pain and after reading these bad reviews that seemed right on.

Have been Dr. J for over 20 years. Would not want another doctor.

Dr. Jalowsky has been my family physician for more than 20 years. I can't hope for a better doctor.

I saw Dr. Jalowsky for 8 years and lab work was ordered every very regularly for 8 years but never checked psa until year 8 and prostate cancer was discovered. Have had surgery radiation treatment and now recurrent prostate cancer. There was lab work to check cholesterol on a frequent basis, if the psa box had been checked on the lab order 8 years earlier I might not have stage IV prostate cancer today. PSA should be checked by age 50 on an annual basis. My first grandchild is due at the end of the year, I fear that he will never know me.

I am sorry to report that Dr. Jalowsky has dementia, which seems to be progressing. He used to be ok, but now he is unable to remember much of anything. We left his practice after observing his pathetic and sad behavior. No longer seems to even have a grasp of time.

Dr. Jalowsky is a rude, creepy, arrogant person, unable to perform a simple procedure such as the removal of a splinter. With other physicians you may wonder "Does this person care about my health or is he just in it for the money?" As a physician with an MBA, Dr. Jalowsky makes the answer to this question irrelevant.

Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. I was treated with total disrespect when I was in pain and holding back tears. This man said there was nothing he could do for me so I left the office in tears and went to the emergency room where I was taken seriously and given some help for my pain. This guy and his NP were lazy, disinterested and only cared about getting paid. Now that I have a good, intelligent doctor, I understand why I have had pain. I was able to continue working, which is all I cared about and I feel respected and cared for. Let's say no to bad doctors!

Excellent doctor. Conscientious and caring. Both my husband and I have gone to Dr. Jalowsky for many years and have been very satisfied with his handling of our medical problems. His staff has always been responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!!!
